Mika has spent her career in health care, starting as a psychotherapist delivering direct care to a variety of populations and then creating programs for targeted populations. Next, she worked in the private insurance sector for half a decade, where she gained exposure to the workings of private insurance before moving to a community-based mental health organization where she led numerous quality initiatives to monitor, measure and improve clinical and operational initiatives. She then moved to Colorado Access when the Regional Accountable Entity (RAE) started, where she leads a team of analysts and program managers who contribute incredible quality assessment and process improvement work to Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+). Her passions include behavioral economics, health care AI, and amplifying the member voice.
