As part of our mission to ensure access to quality health care services for our members, our staff is actively engaged in advocacy efforts with the Colorado General Assembly, various state departments in Colorado, and our many community partners. Colorado Access staff speaks out on health-related policies that impact our members, Colorado’s Medicaid and CHP+ programs and implementation of the Affordable Care Act. We monitor and analyze policy issues, educate legislators and lobby for laws that promote our priorities.

Colorado Access’ legislative priorities for the 2013 session:
