Mission Statement
Colorado Access is dedicated to the operation of a competitive health plan designed to improve access to needed healthcare directly for enrolled members, and indirectly through its partners, to all underserved Coloradans with an emphasis upon primary care and the maintenance of the continuum of care.
About Colorado Access
Colorado Access is a nonprofit health plan that provides access to behavioral and physical health services for medically underserved Coloradans. Established in late 1994, the company is sponsored by The Children's Hospital, Colorado Community Managed Care Network and University of Colorado Hospital/University Physicians, Inc. We currently have four (4) active lines of business:
- Access Behavioral Care
- Child Health Plan Plus offered by Colorado Access
- Colorado Access Advantage (HMO) (Medicare)
- Colorado Access Enhanced Primary Care Case Management
Effective March 1, 2010, members of Colorado Access Health Plan - Enhanced Care Management were transitioned to Colorado Access Enhanced Primary Care Case Management through the State of Colorado's passive enrollment process.
Colorado Access provides administrative services for the CHP+ State Managed Care Network and CHP+ Prenatal Care Program. To learn more about the CHP+ State Managed Care Network, visit www.chpplusproviders.com.
