About Colorado Access Advantage (HMO)

In 2005, Colorado Access launched its Medicare line of business, Colorado Access Advantage (HMO). Presently, Colorado Access Advantage (HMO) offers six (6) different Medicare Advantage plans. Each plan includes Medicare Part A, Part B and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage as well as benefits beyond that of original Medicare. Each of the plans are available to individuals with Medicare Parts A andB that live in the seven (7) county Denver Metro-area, El Paso County, or the San Luis Valley.  Plans B, Plan Select D, Plan E and Plan F are also available in Larimer and Weld counties.

Colorado Access Advantage (HMO) Plan B extends Colorado Access’ expertise in behavioral health care management to eligible members who have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, Paranoid Disorder, or Schizoaffective Disorder.

Colorado Access Advantage (HMO) Plan C offers personalized service to eligible members diagnosed with Diabetes, Congestive Heart Failure, or Cardiovascular Disease.

Colorado Access Advantage (HMO) Plan Select D is a Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan for members who have Medicare Parts A&B and who receive full Medicaid.  The plan offers extra benefits with the needs of dual eligible members in mind, such as non-emergency medical transportation to plan approved locations, routine vision benefits, comprehensive dental benefits and more.

Colorado Access Advantage (HMO) Plan D is a Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan for members who are enrolled in Medicare Parts A&B and who receive medical assistance from the State (Medicaid).  Like Plan Select D, the plan offers extra benefits that are helpful to the population it serves.

Colorado Access Advantage (HMO) Plan E is a low-premium Medicare Advantage plan that offers additional benefits such as extra vision, non-emergency medical transportation to plan approved locations, and dental care.

Colorado Access Advantage (HMO) Plan F is a no-premium Medicare Advantage plan that offers additional benefits such as coverage of certain prescriptions through the coverage gap.
